Friday, Saturday +Sunday!

I am late, as usual! So, first and foremost,

M-e-r-r-y -C-h-r-i-s-t-m-a-s !!!

but Christmas lasts for twelve days rite? I know Christmas is a religious event but everyone seems to have the Christmas spirit. I might not be a Christian but I really enjoy the Yuletide season. I love the music/songs/carolling especially slow songs like Silent Night. Can you believe that Silent Night moved me to tears? Christmas somehow touched my heart in a way. Not to mention, Santa Claus!

It's kinda sad that Christmas has been commercialised but at least it's celebrated worldwide. Heck, i even received presents from my relatives. Actually two pressies cos my birthday is four days before Christmas! muAHah. Yes! i expect two presents from u!! hahahaHA. Sometimes I wonder why I couldn't wait longer? Why am I so eager to see the world that 4 days seem so long? Otherwise, the whole world will be celebrating my birthday with me! Oh well, 21 sounds good to me.

Christmas celebration in Singapore was cool! I've expererienced jostling around and crowds before but never so crowded as Christmas eve. At the beginning, we (ME + shin fei + emmerie + emmerie's family) were quite disappointed because my aunt led us to a shopping mall, away from the crowd, but quite secluded to somesort of 'see' the christmas decorations, which turned out to be quite disappointing. So we countdown among ourselvews with a few lost families who shared the same idea with my aunt. Disappointing decorations are alright but the journey to the blady shopping mall was damn far from Orchard Road where all the happening events were going on. After resting for awhile, we went back to Orchard Road.

On the way back was better because me, emmerie, and shin fei were practically making fun of ourselves, particularly shin fei. She's such a funny person. Her jokes are not funny, in fact lame, but we still laugh anyway because she IS the joke! To think that she used to be so cool and with attitude, now she's totally opposite. From the cool basketball player to an auntie hunting for the cheapest price. In her own words, "3 for $10". But anyhow, she's still the dear shin fei that everyone loves.

This season also proved how innovative or should i say, pathetic how Singaporeans can come up with the idea of importing loads of snow spray. There was lots of snow spray and other colour sprays on sale that night. 5 for $10, 4 for 410, 6 for $10. Macam pasar malam. Can bargain 1! Naturally the crowd was made out of youngsters. So, they are more wild especially the guys. Gosh! Everyone was drenched with soapy foam (the snow) especially me! Arghh. Must the the Santa head I was wearing. Emmerie got her fair share too, leng lui worh! and Shin Fei *sigh* she was hoping that someone would spray her and she was practically asking for it. "SPray ME!! Spray Me!!" And when someone finally sprayed her, she was estactic!

As the crowd grew wilder, we cannot even see the pavement. There were too many people plus the snow spray. The smell of the spray was horrible. It was fragrant but you know,. the kind of toilet detergent smell. Gross! And when the people were excited, they sprayed directly at the face. Come to think bout it, maybe once the clock strikes 12, the crowd were worse. So, we were quite thankful not to be here at 12.

Overall the night was fun. I dont think the celebration in Malaysia is that frolic. However, I thought that the Singapore government was going to ban the snow spray and colours spray because there were so many cans lying around, since the government is such a neat freak. They havent say anything about banning it. If they want to ban it, hope they implement the rule after new year eve.

Saturday!!

Saturday night I thought of going out with Shin Fei cos my aunt went out with her friends. Christmas night worh. Dont wanna feel so lonely. Mana tau that stewpeed idiot took me to her family dinner. Sheesh. Her family members especially her third aunt were so funny. I love hokkien jokes. She wasn't telling hokkien jokes but actually it's her story. The family members kept asking me to finished up the crabs and rice. Gosh... i felt so embarassed. hHhAHA. but luckily my muka tebal (thick skin?). After eating, they drove me home. In the car, her budoh cousin was suprised when I told shin fei's aunts that I understand cantonese and hokkien. Her cousin thought I am Vietnamese because during the dinner shin fei's mum asked shin fei to ask her vietnamese friends whether their country crab is big or not and he thought it's me. HEY I dont look like VIetnamese rite!!????

Sunday!!!
Went shopping!! WoOhOO!! I found two shopping complexes selling cool, youngsters stuff. Emmerie is so gonna kill me because I didnt bring her there. I didn't know larh. My aunt brought me there yesterday. One of the shopping mall exterior looks so old and run-down but in the basement, WOW! The things a bit like sungai wang stuff but better version. Can't seem to find ah lians anywhere because the customers are caucasians. Haihs. The other one known as Heeran Place sells modern things, accesories, etc. And Mango sales! Here known as MANGO but in M'sia, MNG. I bought a jacket which only costs, $39!! So cheap!! And my aunt bought a few more tops. I cant really buy any top cos all body-hugging kind. Yuck yuck yuck. Pau bak chang! HAHhah. Shopping with her is somehow cool cos she's like a sister i never have. She asked me to try new things and trendier clothes. Not to mention expensive. I also bought a Topshop skirt which costs a whopping $73!! HhahaA. I didn't wanna buy it but she insists!! She says i dont wear skirts! My mum is going to kill me. SO expensive, bla bla bla. Then I bought a few accesories which I know cheryl is going to be so jealous cos it's kewl!!..
