Life at the library

Yesterday was my first and .... last medical interview in Melaka Manipal. I've spent Monday and Tuesday in the Shah Alam library, to research on medical ethical, social and current issues.

I have to say, the books in the library is inadequate and the internet lags terribly. I can still bear with the insufficient of books and lagging internet but what made me irritated is the constant whispers! It's so freaking annoying when people try to talk in the library but are not allowed to, so they whisper. Not exctly whispering cos I still can hear them. Whisper supposed to be from ear to ear and small talk is above whisper and below talking. For an hour or so, I was tortured with "Pssssss.sssssss....ss...shh....shhh...siiii......ssssstttttttttt".. ARGGHHH!!! those irritating high pitch "S" sound!! It's like scratching the blackboard with fingernails or using a fork to make the screeching sound on a plate. I got so annoyed that I decided to change place. Dont bother staring or telling them! How can I tell them??

"Please dont talk?" -They are not talking-
"Please dont whisper." -They are whispering but the wrong way-
or I can just define the meaning of whsipering or teach them the right way.

1whis·per -to speak softly with little or no vibration of the vocal cords especially to avoid being overheard

" I can blady hear you SSSsSssSssSsSs's.!!!"

Then again, maybe just, "Please shut up. Thank you." Walk off.
Just want to get far far away before I turned hysteric.

Back to my mission, there are some books for the above- mentioned issues that are useful but the more I read, the more information I gained and the more confused I became. It's also kinda frightening because all the problems I read are real. It hit me that I might.. no.. i WILL face this problems in the future yet, that's what make the job challenging.
