Hi peeps!

I think it's time to liven up this blog after a period of absence. I did typed up a new post with photos and all but accidentally deleted it. So frustrated! *take deep breath* So... *rolls eyes* here I am, attempting to type a second version of what I have to say in the first! I'll try not to narrate/talk/crap so much and let the photos do the talking but you have to know that sometimes once I start typing, I can't help deviating from the main point.

These are some photos from Goa during the 4 days Deepavali/HariRaya holidays. Goa is a coastal area in South India where people usually go there for its beaches and SEAFOOD! The place is recently made famous by Angelina Jolie and her entourage who went there for a short holiday aside from filming her new movie in Pune (ok. like la you care bout her but the main point is the place.. G-O-A) I went there with Alicia, Sashi, Jeremy, Lester and Nicholas by train but there's nearly 30 of my batchmates were there at that time.

Speaking of train, the train ride was hilarious. Sashi bought our train tickets for about RS200 each. Kononnya it's reserved tickets la. We, 6, dungus went to the wrong compartment, ended up squeezing and fighting for survival, literally, in the general compartment. We stood for an hour plus for the seats (2 benches facing each other for 6 people) with possibility of standing for the entire journey which might take 5 hours. There were strategies for preventing local indians from snatching our seats while eyeing on would-be-seat-leavers. Maybe those local Indians who had seats felt uneasy with our stares (or maybe it's just my discomfort OR cute face.. I dunno) that made them gave up there seats fast. Haha. You wont care much if you have to stand for an hour plus with free fragrance from the toilet (au natural) and bonus perfume from smelly sweaty ketiaks (Pardon my rudeness). However, the trip was an interesting one. The train looks like those from the Indian movie but minus the people sitting on the train. The pushing and jostling in and out of the train were real. The smell was authentic. The atmosphere is soo.. India which is good. I actually felt like a tourist! We mingled with the local Indians. In fact, Alicia managed to awe them with her manicure stunt. She managed her time well by doing her manicure (yes, filing, nail polish etc) in the general compartment in full view with the help of Sashi. The rest of us agreed that she definitely deserved a first class seat.

Then *skip skip*, the same night, the guys went and look for booze. Nicholas has his own agenda. He wants to get drunk but cheh, only a bit high and turned as red as tomato. Jeremy bought a bottle of Smirnoff and Lester bought a carton of Bacardi Breezer. Meanwhile, I was busy snapping pictures and Alicia chanced upon a mystical magic shop.. OoOo.. No la. Just a normal shop where the boss entertain people with magic tricks. She bought a trick but never finished showing us because she kept laughing all the time. It's something about the magic words, "Gilik gilik". It triggered her laughing nerves everytime we said that word for the duration of our stay. We spent the night drinking and playing heart attack. Note to self: Never play heart attack with people who shows EVEN a bit of "high" symtoms. They tend to miscalculate their strength. Surely kena whack kao-kao.. T.T

The subsequent nights were spent in the clubs. hehe. The following day was followed by touring Goa in the brand new Innova. We visited Old historical Portuguese churches, Lord Shiva Temples, dolphin sightseeing and beautiful beaches. The next day was a bit relaxing, we went shopping (I bought a pink frilly skirt and a lantern. Someone emo gave me a necklace. hehe. =) ) and spent the evening at the beaches, enjoying foot massages, beach rugby and ink tattoo. The last day was also spent at the beach.

I'll let the photos do the talking la huh?

Saturday morning. While waiting for the train. L-R: Lester (Piggy), Alicia (Ali), Jeremy (Pseudo kor), Nicholas Ho (Ho) and Sashi.

Who say guys dont shop? haha. Shopping and bargaining for booze.

Baboon Ho attempted to get drunk.

Sunday...

Sunny Goa! *skips happily.. la la la la * A beautiful day for Amanda to play. Hahah! It rhymes!

The gang admiring our car for the day or .. are they just posing cos i'm taking their photo?..

Brand new spacious Innova for 6 people with our own driver. Shioknye~

Guys posing at For Aguarda.. a failed re-enactment of Tugu Negara.. Sigh

Supposedly two *cough cough* beauties and a Japanese wannabe poser..

Amanda conquering Fort Aguarda. Sap sap water. It's just at my fingertips.

The gang minus Ali at a very steep platform at Fort Aguarda. They looked relax while I took lots of gut to get up there.

Dolphin sightseeing!. We not only managed to see dolp-FINS but we got to see them fooled/played around. It looks as though they were putting up a show for us. Worth the time and money!

Hello anyone home?

Old left out cannon needs some love too know?.. hehehe

By the power that rest in me, I command you to bend!.. Yay!

At Lord Shiva's temple. Wanna do the happy-to-be-here pose but like tak kena tempat ni. Inside a temple? haha.
