Another escapade!

It's not the destination only, but the journey and the company itself, that make up the adventure.

The bestie (LEeks) and I were both post night duties in our respective wards. We had initially planned for 2 days one night trip to matanani island/kelly's bay but all required prior booking and we are the type of people who does impromptu trips haha *last minute Malaysian syndrome*

Up until the last minute ( shift ended at 9am, went for breakfast with Dora - catched up on latest "news", talking bout world peace etc, finished breakfast bout 11am?), we were still undecided where to go but definitely not waste a day sleeping at home (should be the right thing to do since bestie didn't sleep the whole night, busy at work and I slept for good 3 hours)

So our plan was to go to the nearest islands like we always do :)) then within 10seconds, plan changed to a day trip to the nearest waterfall and pack a overnight set of clothes just in case we decided to sleep over at the Kasih SAyang Resort (at Kokol Hill). Conveniently situated within KK city, really a worthy trip!

Topped up on our usual thirst quencher, Mr Tiger beer and some sandwiches Packed up the old faithful curtain/tablecloth/picnic mat hahaha and our rucksacks.
Played bruno mars along the journey. 
Was initially sunny in the afternoon but gloomy clouds were looming around the mountain area.

Paid only rm 1.50 for entrance fee to Kiansom waterfall.
Changing place was clean but without water supply 
Read bout kiansom has 7 levels of waterfall and wanted to explore the rest but the path was not properly tarred like the common areas. Chose not to be adventurous as we were dressed in our swimming attire and flip-flops. Tumbling down the moss-laden stones would be a funny scene, if not traumatizing.

Found a ideal huge flat rock to lay our multipurpose mat and park our bums. The water was so cold that we snuggled our beers in between stones to chill it.

There was only another family around and we practically had the entire section for ourselves! 

Just the 2 of us:-
- taking photos
- enjoying our lunch and beer ( though I always get cheated cos the bestie always pour hers into my can when I'm not looking )
- basking under the sun via a small opening in the canopy of trees
- reflecting on our lives in KK
- talking nonsense like we always do
- talking louder than the sound of the waterfalls which were obviously futile (we always win! Haha)

Had a 1 hour or so lazying session till it started to drizzle..

Moving on to the second part of the journey which was uphill towards Kasih Sayang REsort. According to the road signage, it says 5.5 KM but failed to mention extremely steep road ahead and with only 2 bars of petrol left, not comforting at all hahaha

Entire hill was covered with mist. Wonderful sight indeed but not so for 2 gungho gals who are unsure of directions haha

Arrived safely ... to a fully booked resort 

Oh well.. was contemplating sleeping overnight in the car if the road visibility was badddd

More chit chat over a pot of hot chocolate. If the visibility is good, we can actually have a bird's eye view of KK city but with the mist and cold weather, it does feel like a horror movie

Finally decided to head down, thick mist or not! Screw It man. Was too tired. Wanted to sleep badly!

*to be continue
SLEEPY d!
