All in the name of ..movie

It was raining when my last class ended (Biology) at 2.15pm. Luckily, Emmerie drove here today. I couldn't catch the 2.10 pm bus, so Emmerie, my saviour, offered to drive me and Esther home. On the way (still in Subang), Emmeire suddenly suggested we go and watch Taegukgi, the Korean show. Cheryl checked the time through her phone and the show starts at 3.50pm. We were all pretty excited cos we missed the show last Friday. Jusco Klang is not screening it. At the fork junction, Emmerie asked me whether to follow the left lane or the right. I was not payin much attention, so i said left. Within 2 seconds, I immediately shouted at Emmerie to swerved to the right. Imagine this, within 2 seconds, 1 inch and we're all on our way to KL.

Don't worry. We managed to get to Sunway Pyramid in one piece. Went and checked the time and then, a problem arised. Esther can't watch the movie because she have to be back by 4.30pm, which was impossible because the show starts at 3.50pm. We tried persuaing her but it's not her fault. She really wants to hang out with us but her mom is just to darn... strict. Let's not get there... My mood at that time: . Finally, Emmerie (sumtimes her brain is workin perfectly) suggested that we watch the movie but we'll send Esther back to college. SO i bought the tickets for the movie. Actually Esther wanted to take a cab back to college but of course, as good pals, we send her back to college to catch the bus.

Mana tau the traffic jam in Subang Jaya is HORRIBLE. Got stuck at the half part of the roundabout for 15 minutes and another half for 5 minutes. The time was 4.10 pm. Then the journey back to Sunway Pyramid, find a parking and buy popcorns (starving) took about 15 minutes. So we were late for the show for about 30 minutes (minus the advertisements). Before we went in, we were feeling quite moody and thought of giving up and just hang around but thank God we didn't because the movie is great!

Taegukgi or Brotherhood is damn cool. The special effects and props can be compared to Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers but Band of Brothers is definitely the king of all war movies. Anyway, the love story is kept to the minimum but you can still see the effects of it. Therefore it's quite suitable for guys who hate cheesy love story. However, this show is not for the faint hearted. Some scenes were gross for example where the bullet went through the brain and caused the brain to splattered all over the floor or the part where blood is oozing out from all part of the head because of concussion or where maggots infested the body of a soldier who is still alive. All this time, i'm still eating my popcorn *Yum yum* *BluaCK*

I cried like twice cos it's so touching watching their brotherly love and not to forget, Won Bin is SoooOOoooo CUTE !!! His actIng skills are superb.He looks like a lost puppy with his puppy eyes and innocent face. Although his face is black in a scene but he still looks so adorable. ArgghhHH!!!...

Bottomline, watch it k?.. Let them win some awards.
