Tanglung Celebration

Firstly i wanna proclaim that my mummy is the best. She's doing everything unselfishly without whining and complaining and so understanding!! There are times when we argued like cats and dogs but today is definitely not. She understands me so well..

I was sleeping in the evening, bout 4 pm till bout 6pm. My gTL crew are coming over at 7 pm. So gotta prepare to greet them (bath, last minute clean up etc).

At 6 pm sharp, Mum came to my room with a cup of ice-cream and I JUST woke up.

Me: HOW YOU KNOW I'M AWAKE??

Mummy: Because it's six and ur frens are coming

Me: I know! but how do u know i'm already awake?

Mummy: I'm ur mum wert. Nah, you wanna try the new ice-cream?

Me: No. I just woke up lerh. Need time to think. *Conscience: Take larh. I know you want it*

Mummy: Just try it. You want it rite.

After constant bugging that lasts for about 2 minutes,

Me: Oklarh!.. *Yum yum*

So as i'vejust said earlier, my gTL crew came to my house to............ celebrate Moon Cake Festival. (Our forefathers will be so proud of us)

First one to arrived was Yattuang. Need to go down to get her (i'm staying in condominium). She suggested that we go and get Huiwan too (Huiwan is staying at east wing). When we arrived at her house, she was bathing. So we played a little game with her. For example, switching off her lights and etc. That blur girl thought there was a power failure. Nways, when i got home, with Yt and Hw, MeiKuen was already sitting in front of my tv. Suprisingly, for Meikuen the "Tuhan of gTL" to come early is not an easy feat. While waiting for the others, my mum served us dinner which was kuey teow soup (looks more like steamboat cos she put it in a steamboat like pot). Then Liyee came. While we were eating, Pekyee called and said she was coming. The next question she asked was "Are there any food?". That's so Pekyee.

Finally, Emmerie called and said that she and Cheryl are in the playground downstairs. So we quickly finished our dinner and went down with my two lanterns which i got from the Mooncake Festival celebration in KL (refer to previous post).

As usual, the playground area is windy. gTL QUIZ!!

How many gTL crew do u need to light up a lantern?

Answer: 5. One to light the match stick. Four others are wind barriers but in the end failed and tried for 10 minutes because of constant laughing and stupid old matchbox plus of course the wind. In the end, 2 small boys have to help us to light the candles. And the gTL crew dont even know the two boys (strangers?).

How many gTL crew do you need to buy lanterns from the sundry shop?

Answer: 4. One to pay for it and main purpose is to buy paper lanterns. Three more to accompany which main purpose is to "buat bising" and buy unnecessary things like Doraemon plastic lanterns. *Sigh*

Anyways, there we were, 8 girls with childlike brains acting cuckoo in front of few small boys. It took us about 30 minutes to light 4-5 lanterns because of the above mentioned conditions. Actually it was not us who lighted up the lanterns but thanks to the above mentioned strangers.

Cheryl brought camera. So we began posing with the lanterns. Anyone who sees the photos, i guarantee, will definitely laugh and roll on the floor. We're supposed to take pictures with the lanterns but in the end, "self-shiok". Ambil gambar sendiri. Oh yah, the photographer was my little brother, Kenneth who played quite an important role and pity him, it seems like he's the only civilized person among the "jie-jies".

Then it started to drizzle a little bit. So we went back to my place. Dunno which idiot planned to take pictures in the cramped elevator but we all agreed to. Then when we reached the 10th floor where i stay, my little brother took pictures of us in the elevator. We wanna have the best picture because the silly posings blocked most of our faces. Sadly, the stupid elevator wouldn't open for long and closed the door. Well, elevator's main duty is not for picture taking session. We have to go down to ground floor and we laughed all the way. *Darn silly rite? but there's nothing better than doing silly things with your close frens* When we reached the 10th floor, we're in our best pose. As soon as the door opens, my brother was there ever ready to take our picture and there you have it, a bunch of cuckoos posing in the elevator. My brother said that our laughter can be heard from the 10th floor when we're in the elevator.

We continued crapping in my room and soon everyone have to leave. I'm very glad they came and looking forward to our next outing. Maybe we'll celebrate the next coming festival which is .............Deepavali i think. We'll see.
