It's been one week!!

It has been a week since I started working.

WoOhooO!..

Can't believe I actually last T-H-A-T long. I guess I got a twee-bit of committment in my job. I see myself as a "very important personnel" in the company. Yah rite. Only a mere general clerk.

In spite of that, out of 5 and a half working days, I had free lunches for 3 days. People in the company or associated with the company have very big heart and big pocket. Muaha.a Free lunch!! Double wooHoo! And my colleagues are very nice people... though... they often pronounce my name wrongly. Guess this is what happen if you tell a bunch of Chinese businessmen your english name. After years of experience, I realised that English names are easier to remember than Chinese names. I've often introduce myself as "Lee Chen" and only people with GOOD memory can remember it and that's also if I said, "Oh, just think of a l-e-e-c-h and add e-n behind it. TadaA! Leechen!" Crap!. So when most of the men (middle-age men) in the company asked for my name, I told them Amanda. Then came comments like, "HUH? RIBENA ar?" or "Alamanda? *Even flowers gain better recognition than my name* or "Anaconda". Oh usually it's AH-MA-DA. My big boss even asked me whether my name is an English name or a Malay name. Haihs. But of course they are superbly farneE-!! When they asked me what I wanna pursue in my further studies, I just told them medicine lerh. Long story. Probably they wont understand the significance of biomedical science. Hence, i got a new nickname. "Doctor". Not to say that I'm proud of but what if I fail? Malulerh.... No. no. Cannot think of failure. Must succeed. Umm! *Nods head*

Btw, I've got a new specs. Brand: FCUK. Colour: Dark blue. Shape: Square. JUST in case no one realises it. Sad. =(
