Quantum of Solace premiered today!!! *jumps around happily*
I find the Malay translation amusing, something, "Ketenangan di antara kesengsaraan".. hahaha
Though I'm not much of a Bond fan but I jumped on the bandwagon .. cos I read James Bond trivia in StarSpecial today WTH? *yay! more unnecessary stuff for the pea-brain of mine* or maybe it's because of Daniel Craig blue eyes *swoon* Definitely the second reason..
By the end of the movie, I was 3/4 blur cos I was lost at certain parts of the conversation. Sometimes the British accent is so incomprehensible and fast, other times, the censorship board thought it was fun cutting all the "18sx/18sg" scenes which happen to include relevant plot of the story? I dunno..?
AND to spice things up, imagine 15 minutes to the end of the movie, the screen went blank in the cinema.

Ya. Tell me about it. If this is India, I'll understand cos they need to change to the second movie roller-thingamajig. But hello, MBO cineplex in Msia? We (12 of us) spend a good 5 minutes in the dark joking bout how they are streaming from the net, or changing to the second disc etc
When the movie finally came back, the characters were mute. So, we read the subtitles in the mean time. Oh wow, a Malay speaking James Bond. That must've been the coolest scene..
No point asking for refund.. maybe not me.. cos I was still trying to make sense about the movie. Damnz. I thought it was supposed to be entertaining, not mind-boggling.

Haha I watched that today too, after my exam!
And I was really tired edi and the actions thingy went on so fast in the beginning (the chasing cars and whatnot) made me dizzy. Friend said the camera not good. Anyway, I think its not bad but I need to watch it the second time to fully understand it. (I napped by closing my eyes for 10 mins somewhere at the start ahah)
wow.. if it's me, after exam i hibernate.. hehe
same goes here.. need to watch a second time i guess.. when i'm REALLY bored la.. =)
