It's not easy finding recreational activities to do during the weekends in Klang Valley.. We have the nature parks, forest, land, etc but lack the management to popularise and utilize it to the max. Even with government allotted money, only 1% is used for the maintenance. Sad indeed but I guess we can only made do with what we have. 2 Sundays back, we went to Bukit Cahaya Alam in Shah Alam cos I wanted to cycle badly. I had in mind the picture of the East Coast in Singapore but was disappointed with the upkeep of the place for the amount they charge; RM3 for adult. It is clean with basic utilities but lack the attraction, the information notice board was like a thousand years old, places of interests are old; one word sum it all = rundown. It is definitely not a place I will recommend to tourists but nevertheless a good place for family to hang out.
