*touch wood again* and not as frequent as this. It's bad for my mental health OK! I'll get immune to it. Somesort of sensitization?! *touch wood 3rd time* 3 freaking times in total now.
I dunno why I'm always the victim. At least if I knock someone's vehicle *touchwood 4th time*, I have no one to blame but my own carelessness and can happily claim insurance but NOOOO, SOME irresponsible, nimcompoop, shit-filled brain REMPITS who should burn in HELL have to hurt my car.
It was a red light at the traffic light where all cars have came to a complete halt. I was waiting to u-turn towards McD. Then suddenly, this rempit guy hit my bumper from the back. He was coming at quite a fast speed cos from my mirror, I could see him somesort of somersaulted. Gayathri was in the front seat with me. Both of us were utterly shocked. That babified fella got the cheat to pick up his bike and sped off. Tell me know, is my anger justified?? ASSHOLE. Furthermore, the whole stretch facing the road was jam-packed with rempits's bikes and car. Even if the fella stayed, I wouldn't dare negotiate with him, lest my Blackie will suffer more.
From the first inspection shows a bit of scrapped, vertical cracked measuring 7cm and right side of bumper came out.
When I tried drving the car, there was a dragging sound. So, inspected the second time and found out that the bumper was impeding on the exhaust pipe, which was pushed on the tyre. CRAP!
Luckily, a kind Malay driver from the back car came down and help to pull the bumper outwards and upwards. I guess he saw the whole incident.
Sighh!
Sad story aside.
It was a great night having foreign students from Learning Across Border Programme last night, on campus. I actually had fun talking politics with a Taiwanese guy majoring in International Relations, Willie and a Japanese guy, Hayato. They are such nice people. They actually came over to me while I was getting food and somesort of waited for me and asked me whether I would like to join their table. For the fact that the foreign students started to take their food from the buffet line 15 mins earlier and I was loitering around, they havent touch their meals. Wow. ^^
Then Daveena joined our table. Willie was very interested with our current political issue and he is quite knowledgeable for the fact that the news he read online was propaganda. Yup. We did a bit of re-educating our fellow foreign friends on our education system, democratic freedom, religion etc. He was shocked but nevertheless, understood our dissatisfaction. If there's me alone stating my mind, it'll definitely sounded bias but luckily Daveena was also there to give her opinions. He asked us whether are we still loyal to our country? I told him, "I have to admit that I love my country. There's no typhoon, earthquakes, volcanoes, snowstorm and we have the best food but I really do not like the government and its policy." In the end, we pretty much summed up that although our government is working towards equality for all, 1Malaysia concept, but there are people (majority population) who are afraid of changes and their rights vs the rest of the minority who are well-educated andare the driving force behind the nation's economy, hence the dilemma faced by the current governing party.
Hayato, the Jap boy was more of the shy one. Willie had to prompt him to ask questions about us. His questions consisted of, do I have boyfriend, what we do to pass time, Japanese anime. Typical Japanese man. His eyes sparkled and his face lighted up when a particular topic which interest him was discussed like Shin Chan, Jap drama, idol group. He went, "OHhhh."
Willie likes to teased Hayato. Few examples are like, Willie directly ask me is Hayato cute? HAHAHA Do I like him? WTH! hahaha
And I of course had to ask back the same question right? hehe and the answer was yes, of course. :D
But it was good 1 hour plus conversation. Glad that I talked to them. XD
Then we offered to take them around since Jonker Street is closed at around 11pm. We took them to the Jetty. I must say the scenery there is really beautiful at night. Plus, there were fireworks. (: It would be better if there's wind cos the air was still and humid. We quickly proceeded to have dessert. Ice kacang and chendol for our foreign friends. Not the best but.. will do. The Taiwanese friends were also quite happy to be able to read the Chinese letters. They were busy ordering food for themselves.
Oh, and I was having conversation with this guy from Switzerland, Steven, along the way to Jetty. Kinda funny guy. At one point, he was asking me to teach him some Cantonese words. And as we walked further, I pointed out to the shore,
Me: Look, low tide!
Him: *looking blur for awhile* Low Thai?
Me: Huh? Low TIDEE! there..
Him: Low Thai? I dun understand the Chinese word you just said.
Me: What? It's English! High tide. Low tideee.! OMG. hahahha
Him: Ooh! I'm so sorry. *apologised profusely*
Me: Do I sound as though I have think Chinese accent? *fuming*
All this while, Gayathri and Baveen were listening to our conversation. -________-" They were laughing their heads off.
Those who wanted to party on were whisked to Pure Bar. lol! whereas the rest headed back to the hotel at around 1.30am.
So yeah, party all the way till Pure closes at 3am THEN headed to Gayathri's place to continue. :)
The foreign students went back at around 5am, I lasted till around 7.30am. Really needed to sleep! huhu The rest were high on alco. Partied till 9am. Crazy.K. Now for picturesss!
