Being in KK (limited destination choices) and medical line (difficulty in applying long holidays) have their shortcomings but managed to made do with what we can!
1. Started the year with day trip to Pulau Tiga (survivor island) with orthopedic gang.
2. CNY trip to Osaka and Kyoto with family except 1st bro who was still in India. Konnichiwa! So in love with Korean and Japanese culture.
3. Family trip to Chiangmai/Chiangrai, Thailand
4. White water rafting (level 3) in Padas. Had to take a 2 hours bus ride, then train ride to the interiors just to reach the river.
5. Ipoh road trip with gTLIers. Went for abseilling and again, white water rafting but this time the water was clearer and cleaner, followed by eating galore!
6. Sat helicopter for the first time to the interiors of Kota MArudu to retrieve a child with high fever
7. Day trip again with the guys to Kundasang, Ranau for cool breeze of fresh air. Feels like Austria with the mountainous landscape.
8. 4 days 3 night road trip from KK-Brunei-Miri with Leeky and Dora and collected 20 stamps on the passport along the way. had such a lovely fun trip just us girls
9. Another Ipoh trip with mum and dad. Spent some quality time together
10. 2 days 1 night trip to Kudat, tip of Borneo with the guys again. Sunset view was awesome and shisha-ing by the beach has never been this good.
11. Nabalu day trip for medical camp with Leeky
12. Rasa ria resort day trip with Leeky after eating Tuaran mee from the origin itself.
13. Christmas celebration in Singapore
14. Labuan day trip (drove for 2 hours and speedboat ride for another half and hour) for a good friend's wedding.
15. Kiansom waterfall day trip followed by brief stop at Kasih Sayang Resort on Kokol Hill, Inanam.
16. Last stop, Keningau where work begins in 2013
